This is my fan site showcasing lesser-known and up-and-coming artists and entertainers that I enjoy on the internet.
First up:
I first saw the video for "Strutt" pop up on a random FB page during Covid times and fell in love with this guy completely. He is like if Bootsy Collins and Frank Zappa got stuck in the machine from "The Fly" and got blended together, only 10 times better and more original than that. Mix that with his strong DIY visuals and surreal art style and you've got someone who needs at least several million more fans and followers than he has.
Lo-fi, DIY legend Weird Paul Petroskey has been making videos and music for decades. Seriously, he's the "original vlogger," whose first videos were made when he was a kid on his family's camcorder. His music is great and runs through several genres and styles, all while keeping that lo-fi vibe. Here are a few of my favorite music videos of WP...
My favorite videos of his, however, are his thrift haul and mail day vids, where he showcases all the neat stuff he got. As a fellow collector of many different things, I love seeing all the randon stuff. These are the number one vids to have on in the background when you are doing something too by the way.
Nothing to do with Harry Potter, this band is an amazing rock band that defies exact description, honestly. It's acid rock, Southern rock, hip-hop, and art rock all rolled together, and all of it with the same manic DIY and lo-fi energy as the previously-mentioned artists. It blows away most of the popular music of today.
That's all so far, but this page will be an eternal work in progress that I will add to whenever I see something cool and under-the-radar.
